Plastic Lambing Aid

When a ewe is experiencing a difficult birth, especially when the lamb's head is back, this lightweight, flexible lambing instrument can help to provide extra reach.

The loop at the top is designed to fit over the lamb’s head, whilst the fork-shape supports the animal’s chin. Once securely in place, you can use the Lambing Instrument to safely and gently draw the lamb out. There is no telling how difficult a birth is going to be until it's happening, and without the right support both the mother and its lamb will be at serious risk. It is for this reason that we would never even consider going into lambing season without the Instrument by our side.
